After graduating from Palm Beach State College, Shaq returned home with a mission: to do tourism right – and make it truly local. Although tourism accounts for over 50% of the national GDP, it’s rarely led by Bahamians. Shaq saw both a challenge and an opportunity.

With the guidance of mentors and the support of family and friends, he began with a single offering: luxury golf cart rentals. From there, he built a thriving full-service island concierge company.

His vision? To share the real Harbour Island – through the lens of local life, culture, and connection.
Because at the end of the day, “it’s an island ting”.
